Newcastle’s Mandarin Restaurant is easy to spot from the street, being colourfully fronted with greens, reds and gold in traditional Chinese style.
The colours continue inside, creating a relaxed atmosphere of authenticity in which to enjoy your meal. As well as offering pre and post-theatre dinners, the Mandarin also has its famous banquets that offer dishes such as lamb with ginger and spring onions, king prawns in black bean sauce chilli and garlic fish - all for a fixed price; the Jade banquet costs £15 per person. The Mandarin uses fresh ingredients and is very popular locally. |
